Caris LeVert is expected to have surgery after discovering a mass on his kidney during his physical tests with the Indiana Pacers.

LeVert joined the Pacers as part of a four-team trade last week, yet he will not make his debut with Indiana soon.

According to Pacers GM Kevin Pritchard, LeVert will need six to eight weeks to recover, but then he will need additional time to get back in shape.

Pritchard also noted the team will know more on LeVert’s recovery timetable next week.
