Wesley Matthews had nothing but good words to say about the head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers Frank Vogel.

Matthews praised Vogel for his coaching skills and especially the communication with his players.

“Wes Matthews calls Frank Vogel “the best communicator I’ve had” as a coach through the first month of a season in his career. He’s played for Jerry Sloan, Nate McMillan, Caleb Kanales, Terry Stotts, Rick Carlisle, David Fizdale and Mike Budenholzer too,” Dave McMenamin of ESPN reports.

Matthews also said the way Vogel communicates with his players has helped the veteran guard better adapt to the Lakers.

Matthews was a starter for the Lakers for the first time this season against the Chicago Bulls on Friday.
