Rick Carlisle was looking at the bigger picture after the Dallas Mavericks secured their second win of the season in the game against the Miami Heat.

The veteran coach told reporters that his team haven’t done anything yet, despite the win over the last season’s NBA finalists.

“We haven’t done s**t. We really haven’t. We’ve showed up in two out of five games,” Carlisle said after his team’s performance in Dallas.

The Mavericks are having a rough start to the season, as they lost three of the first four games of the 2020/21 regular season campaign.

At the same time, Luka Doncic is also having a rough start shooting-wise, as he is making just 9.5% of his threes through four games in the season.

As a result, Carlisle rightfully could not be satisfied by his team’s performance, as he is looking forward to Kristaps Porzingis’ return after he went down with an injury during last season’s playoffs.

The Mavericks have a chance to build on their Friday’s win facing the rebuilding Chicago Bulls on Monday.
