Orlando Magic guard Terrence Ross will not play against the Philadelphia 76ers on Dec. 31 due to right hamstring irritation, the team announced.

Ross first suffered the injury against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Dec. 29, but ultimately returned to the game after briefly leaving.

The 29-year-old sixth man is off to a hot start for the 4-0 Magic, averaging 21.0 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game, while shooting 51.8 percent from the field.
