The defending NBA champions Los Angeles Lakers improved to 3-2 after beating the San Antonio Spurs 121-107. Six players finished with double-digits in scoring for the Lakers with three of them scoring over 20 points, namely LeBron James, Dennis Schroder and Anthony Davis.

After the game, the Lakers’ head coach Frank Vogel talked about what helped his team secure the win in San Antonio. “I think what we’re playing is intelligent offensive basketball. We’re really attacking. With the exception of some stretches of the Portland game, we’re really thinking extra pass basketball,” he said.

“We got a lot of shot makers on this team. Through focusing on shot quality and the extra pass with the shot makers we have on our team, we’re gonna have the ability to be efficient and we saw that for four quarters tonight.”
