LeBron James shared his thoughts on playing a game on his 36th birthday this week.

James will turn 36 on Wednesday, December 30, when the Lakers face the San Antonio Spurs on the road.

“I have been very fortunate to play some games on my birthday. That will be another opportunity for me to play the game that I love and celebrate another year of existence. Playing for a great team and great organization makes it a lot greater.

Just very blessed and very honored and I am happy to do what I love to do,” James told reporters, via Ryan Ward pf Lakers Daily.
