Luka Doncic started the season shooting just 44% from the field with the Dallas Mavericks conceding two defeats to the Suns and the Lakers.
The Mavs’ head coach Rick Carlisle did not seem to worry about Doncic’s shot selection, as Dallas’ All-Star is capable of constantly adjusting his play.
“Luka just plays,” the veteran coach said. “He is very smart and he is constantly analyzing and adjusting his game to the surroundings.”
Doncic averaged 29.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists shooting 44% from the field and 18.2% from beyond the arc in the first two games of the regular season.
