James Wiseman had a nice start in his NBA career, as he played his first two games with the Golden State Warriors. After scoring 19 points in his debut against the Nets, Wiseman finished the Christmas day game against the Bucks with 18.

The second overall pick of the 2020 NBA Draft is one of the few positives in the Warriors’ ugly season start conceding two blowout losses to the Nets and the Bucks.

During the game, Draymond Green took the rookie to the side coaching him up on his defensive play. Wiseman has showcased his offensive game stepping out the three-point line and diving in aggressively on pick-and-rolls.

Green is sidelined with a foot injury for the start of the season, however, his presence on the defensive end seems to be essential for the Warriors this season.

On the other hand, Wiseman will continue to grow on both ends of the floor, and Green could certainly help him, especially in the defensive side.
