The San Antonio Spurs came to an agreement with guard Derrick White on a four-year, $73M rookie scale extension, per Adrian Wojnarowski.

The 29th overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft out of Colorado was another late first-round find of the San Antonio Spurs. He averaged 11.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 24.7 minutes per game last season.

The Spurs tied the fourth-year player on a lucrative deal, with the franchise trying to retool its roster and return to the postseason.

A G-League champion with the Austin Spurs on 2018, White gradually became one of the premier perimeter defenders in the league the last two seasons.
