The Los Angeles Clippers are once again setting the standards high ahead of the 2020/21 season, and Luke Kennard is not an exception to the rule.

After the Clippers’ latest preseason game, Kawhi Leonard expressed his opinion on the newly acquired shooting guard Luke Kennard.

Kennard had a mediocre start in his first two games with the LA franchise registering a combine of 11 points and four assists against the Lakers.

He came off strong in the last Clippers’ preseason game with 13 points going 3 for 4 from beyond the arc. Leonard appeared satisfied, when he talked about what Kennard could offer to his new team.

“He told us that in the locker room, he wants to play better,” Leonard said. “That is big from guys, if they’re saying that in the preseason, you know what I mean? He’s locked in.

“I like what I see,” he continued.
