Doc Rivers shared his thoughts on COVID-19 vaccination, which started in the United States last week.
Rivers, the head coach of the Philadelphia 76ers, said he is comfortable with taking the vaccine once it becomes available for players and coaches.
“Because I trust it. I’m not a conspiracist right now. Obviously you want it to be done right. You’re hoping that all the things that should have been done have been done by the FDA and everybody else. But I have no problem taking it.
Let’s be honest. I understand the suspicion as well, especially being a Black man and The Tuskegee Institute. We don’t forget stuff like that,” Rivers told Mark Medina of USA Today Sports.
