Kyle Kuzma has emerged as one of the leaders for the Los Angeles Lakers during the three preseason games so far. The 25-year-old forward scored 23 points as the defending NBA champions took care of business against the Phoenix Suns.
Anthony Davis likes what he sees from Kuzma thus far. The Lakers superstar expects his teammate to be a major piece of the team this season.
“The way he’s playing right now, the game is slowing down for him. … he’s going to be a big piece for us this year and he’s only going to keep getting better,” Davis said, per Allie Clifton.
