Reigning NBA MVP and DPOY Giannis Antetokounmpo has signed a five-year, $228 million supermax extension with the Milwaukee Bucks – the largest contract in league history. The Greek Freak is connected with the team until 2026. Antetokounmpo was selected 15th by the Bucks in 2013.
Following the news, the 26-year-old Giannis took to Instagram to express his happiness and share a message with the fans:
“This is my home, this is my city.. I’m blessed to be able to be a part of the Milwaukee Bucks for the next 5 years. Let’s make these years count. The show goes on, let’s get it,” Giannis wrote on his IG.
