LaVar Ball just had one of his dreams of having all of his sons get into the NBA come true after his middle son LiAngelo signed his first NBA deal with the Detroit Pistons. Although the contract is a two-way and does not guarantee LiAngelo would get playing time, formally he is an NBA player now, joining his brothers Lonzo and LaMelo.
“PROUD!! We’re just getting started,” LaVar tweeted. He has previously said if all three his sons join forces on the same team, such team would win a championship.
Lonzo, former number two overall pick, entered the league in 2017 with the Los Angeles Lakers. In the summer of 2019, he was traded to the New Orleans Pelicans. The Charlotte Hornets drafted LaMelo at number three in this year’s NBA Draft.
