Gregg Popovich made it clear it is time for a change in the San Antonio Spurs and that change will take place this coming season.
The Spurs failed to make the playoffs last season for the first time in 22 years and Popovich does not want this to happen again.
“The bottom line, in all frankness, I don’t remember winning a championship last year. I don’t remember being in the playoffs. So it’s time to make a change, play a different way, demand it and move forward,” Popovich told Jeff McDonald of San Antonio Express-News.
Given they did not make many changes in the offseason, San Antonio will definitely need to defy the odds in order to achieve the ‘change’ that Popovich is seeking.
