Marc Gasol is set to spend two years with the Los Angeles Lakers after signing a two-year contract with the defending NBA champions. According to Shams Charania, the deal is worth $5.3 million and does not include player or team option in second season.

The Lakers brought the Spanish center while parting ways with Dwight Howard and JaVale McGee who play in the same position.

The 35-year-old veteran averaged 7.5 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game for the Toronto Raptors last season.
