The Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Clippers are interested in signing power forward Markieff Morris.
The two LA rivals are battling to sign the veteran forward, per Marc Stein of the New York Times.
Morris won the 2020 NBA title with the Lakers and the defending champions want to bring him back for another season.
At the same time, the Clippers want to sign Morris and pair him with his brother Marcus, who agreed to a new, four-year deal, worth $64M, with the team a few days ago.
