For the first time in their careers, Marcus Morris and his twin Markieff started the same game for opposing teams and played against each other throughout the game as the Clippers faced the Lakers. Marcus’ team ended up winning the game 104-86.
He played 28 minutes and was the top scorer for the Clippers with 22 points. Meanwhile, Markieff played the exact same number of minutes for the Lakers and had nine points.
After the game, Marcus spoke about what it meant for him and his brother to play in such a game. “It just shows how hard we worked,” he said, per Melissa Rohlin. “We’re both just tremendously happy for each other.”
