Valencia made an epic comeback and stunned Maccabi Tel-Aviv at home on Friday night (82-80).

The Israelis led by seven with 2:21 to go (70-77), yet the Spaniards went on a 10-3 run to tie the game (80-80), with 7.4 seconds left.

After the timeout, Maccabi tried to put the ball in Scottie Wilbekin’s hands, but Bojan Dubljevic made the steal and Sam Van Rossom hit the game-winning layup at the buzzer.

Klemen Prepelic led the winners with 22 points, whereas Wilbekin scored 25 for the losing squad.

Valencia now is at 6-3 in the standings, whereas Maccabi dropped to 3-7, losing for the fourth time in the last five games.
