Tyler Herro made an interesting statement regarding the 2019 NBA Draft, where he was selected by the Miami Heat.
Herro, who had a stellar rookie season with the Heat and reached the 2020 NBA Finals, initially thought he would get drafted by the Boston Celtics.
“I got blessed to come here instead of there,” Herro said on an Instagram Live, via David Wilson of the Miami Herald.
Herro was selected by the Heat with the 13th overall pick, while the Celtics had the 14th pick that year and chose Romeo Langford.
