The Milwaukee Bucks and New Orleans Pelicans are heading into Friday’s matchup at Smoothie King Center with significant injury concerns on both sides.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (right calf strain) and Myles Turner (right calf strain) will be sidelined for the Bucks, while Taurean Prince remains out following neck surgery. Two-way player Alex Antetokounmpo is also unavailable.

New Orleans faces a deep injury list as well. Dejounte Murray (right Achilles rupture) and Yves Missi (left calf strain) are out, while Trey Murphy III is listed as doubtful with a right shoulder contusion. Micah Peavy (right great toe sprain) will also miss the game, and two-way players Trey Alexander and Hunter Dickinson are inactive.

Milwaukee enters the contest on a two-game winning streak, having beaten the Oklahoma City Thunder 110-93 on February 12 and the Orlando Magic 116-108 on February 11.

The Bucks rank 12th in the Eastern Conference with a 23-30 record and are relying on Kevin Porter Jr., who averages 17.3 points and 7.6 assists per game, and Giannis Antetokounmpo, who has been averaging 28.0 points and 10.0 rebounds before his injury.

The Pelicans are 14th in the Western Conference at 15-41, coming off a 111-123 loss to the Miami Heat and a 120-94 victory over the Sacramento Kings.

Trey Murphy III leads the team with 22.1 points per game, followed closely by Zion Williamson at 21.6 points and 6.1 rebounds.

This season, the Bucks narrowly defeated the Pelicans 141-137 in overtime on February 4.
