The Charlotte Hornets have no intention to trade their No.3 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft to the Houston Rockets in exchange for Russell Westbrook.
Westbrook has requested a trade from the Rockets and Charlotte has emerged as a candidate to land him.
However, according to Kevin O’Connor of The Ringer, the Hornets are not willing to trade their pick in order to bring the NBA superstar to the team.
Charlotte is expected to pick either LaMelo Ball, Anthony Edwards or James Wiseman in the upcoming Draft, but it is unknown yet whether they will trade their pick or not.
