The New Orleans Pelicans added another piece to the coaching staff ahead of the 2020/21 NBA season.

The former NBA journeyman and NBA champion Corey Brewer is joining New Orleans’ staff, per Mark Berman of Fox 26.

Brewer will be part of player’s development department. The 13-year veteran won a championship with the Dallas Mavericks in 2011.

He was the 7th overall pick of the 2007 NBA draft starting his career in Minnesota. He also played for Denver, Houston, Oklahoma City, Philadelphia, Sacramento and the Lakers.

During his NBA career, he averaged 8.7 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.6 rebounds per game.
