The NBA is targeting December 1st for the start of the training camp, according to Marc Stein of the New York Times.

The league is also planning to start the new season on December 22, if its plan gets approved by the NBPA.

It is very likely the new season will be a shortened one, with a 72-game regular season, and the intention to finish before the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.

The league is expected to announce its final plan soon, which also includes other important dates, like the start of free agency.
