Tyronn Lue was the final choice of the Los Angeles Clippers to replace Doc Rivers as the team’s head coach. The former NBA champion joined reporters at his introductory press conference and talked on his plans for the new season.

Lue was asked about Kawhi Leonard’s load management and if there is any possibility to resume it heading into the next season.

According to Tom Azarly, Lue avoided to give a clear answer, as he naturally wanted to talk the issue with medical and performance staff first.

Several members of the squad reportedly expressed their disappointment on the way the franchise handled the situation around Kawhi Leonard and the star treatment he received.

The Clippers’ players denied there was any truth in those reports, however the Clippers clearly faced chemistry issues that were mostly evident during their appearance in the Orlando “bubble”.
