When Kawhi Leonard and Paul George joined the Los Angeles Clippers ins the summer of 2019, the hopes were high for the team. The Clippers instantly became title contenders. In the end, however, they were knocked out by the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference semifinals.
One of the players that received a fair share of blame for the Clippers’ failure was George. He struggled for the most part of the playoffs.
Zach Lowe of ESPN believes that PG will have a different mindset next season. “I’m predicting a Paul George vengeance tour next season. The guy was a top-five MVP finisher last season. He’s gonna come back strong next season,” he said.
