Actor John Cusack revealed the story behind the famous photo above involving two NBA greats Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant. The photo from the last game between Jordan’s Wizards and Kobe’s Lakers.

According to Cusack, who is seen in the photo sitting on the sideline, in that situation Kobe received the ball and everyone moved away anticipating him going one on one with MJ.

The Chicago Bulls legend stood right in Bryant’s way who ran straight into Jordan. MJ took the charge and told Kobe that everyone knew he wasn’t going to pass.

“Kobe got the ball, cleared everybody out. Everybody started to bristle up with anticipation that it’s gonna be Kobe against Michael. And Kobe started to drive. Michael stepped in front of him, right in front of him. And he took the charge. And he went down and Kobe is standing above him. And Michael just looked up and said ‘Well everybody in the f*cking building knew you weren’t gonna pass’,” Cusack said.

The incident can be seen in the video below from 5:24 minute mark.
