Jimmy Butler is one of the greatest competitors in today’s game and this trait of his character was merged well with the Miami Heat culture.

The Miami Heat got past the Indiana Pacers, the top-seeded Milwaukee Bucks, and the Boston Celtics to play in the 2020 NBA Finals as heavy outsiders against the Los Angeles Lakers.

After the Heat loss in Game 6, Butler, who led his team in five statistical categories in the Finals, expressed his belief Miami will return to the big stage.

Butler finished the series against the Lakers averaging 26.2 points, 9.8 assists, and 8.3 rebounds adding two steals and almost one block per contest.

He also had two triple-doubles in Games 3 and 5, offering some of the best individual performances we saw in the NBA Finals the last 10 seasons.
