Real Madrid suffered a blowout loss to Valencia at home (77-93) and remained winless in the EuroLeague (0-2).

The “Whites” remained competitive only in the opening half (39-44). After that, Valencia took over and led by as many as 25 points to cruise to an easy victory.

In addition, this is the first time in the history of Real Madrid in the EuroLeague that the team starts the season with two straight defeats in the first two rounds.

For their part, Valencia improved to 2-0 and remained on top of the standings.

The second round of the EuroLeague also saw Fenerbahce rally past rivals Anadolu Efes (71-80) and CSKA Moscow edge Maccabi Tel-Aviv (76-72).
