Nando De Colo led Fenerbahce to the 80-71 victory over rivals Anadolu Efes, who are still looking for their first win.

Anadolu Efes were in front early in the game and led by nine in the second quarter. De Colo and his teammates did their best to take the lead before the end of the first 20 minutes and were successful. Even though Efes tried to turn things around during the second half, Igor Kokoškov’s squad stayed strong and grabbed a huge road victory.

In the absence of Shane Larkin, who is out due to injury, Krunoslav Simon took the leading role for the hosts. The Croatian shooting guard/small forward had his four minutes of glory (scored 10 points, had an assist, grabbed a rebound, blocked Jan Vesely, drew a foul, and made a steal) in the first quarter.

But, his perfect minutes were ruined by the visitors’ excellent team play and their dominance in rebounds. Fenerbahce had 48 rebounds and Anadolu Efes only 24.

As it was mentioned before, De Colo was the MVP of the game. The Frenchman’s pair of threes helped Fenerbahce end the first half in front by seven (42-35).

De Colo had 20 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and three steals for an index rating of 28. Lorenzo Brown added 17 points, Jan Vesely had a double-double with 13 points and 10 boards and Edgaras Ulanovas scored 10 points.

On the other side, Krunoslav Simon (24 points and five assists) and Rodrigue Beaubois (11 points) were the only two players in double figures.
