Danny Green got a nickname after the end of Game 1 of the 2020 NBA Finals between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Miami Heat.
Green had 11 points (3/8 shooting from beyond the arc), three blocks, two steals and the second-highest +/- rating in Wednesday’s game, as he finished the game with a +21 behind Anthony Davis’ +23.
Green got the nickname ‘Playoff Danny” for his performance in the game.
“We know what Danny can do and we just encourage him every game to keep shooting. We know that Playoff Danny is going to come out and knock down shots like he did tonight,” Kentavious Caldwell-Pope said, via Finals Faigen of SB Nation.
The Lakers lead the series 1-0. Game 2 of the 2020 NBA Finals is on Friday.
