LeBron James was not satisfied with the performance of the Los Angeles Lakers in the opening minutes of Game 1 against the Miami Heat.

James and the Lakers saw the Heat take a 13-point lead early in the game (23-10), but outscored them 83-44 until the end of the third quarter and never looked back.

“They smacked us in the mouth. From that point on, we started to play to our capabilities,” James told reporters, via Mike Trudell of Spectrum Sportsnet.

James flirted with another triple double (25 points, 13 rebounds, nine assists), as the Lakers earned the 98-116 win and now lead the series 1-0.

Game 2 is on Friday.
