Doc Rivers is expected to receive a job offer from the Philadelphia 76ers soon, per Jason Dumas of KRON4.
Rivers is in talks with the Sixers to become the new head coach of the team and is considered a top candidate.
“Source: Doc Rivers is currently with the Sixers brass and will watch Game 1 of the NBA Finals with them. A job offer is expected to follow soon,” Dumas reports.
The Sixers are in search for their mew head coach, after firing Brett Brown following the sweep from the Boston Celtics in the opening round of the playoffs.
At the same time, Rivers is a free agent, after parting ways with the Los Angeles Clippers a few days ago.
