Ty Lue is one of the most common names referred to in this year’s rumor mill surrounding the several vacant head coaching jobs. Lue is expected to be a candidate in all major head coaches searches in the league.

According to Brad Turner of the LA Times, the former NBA champion will meet with the Philadelphia 76ers Tuesday or Wednesday.

Furthermore, the Pelicans and the Rockets are preparing to talk with Lue for the possibility of taking over the reins in those teams.

Lue, who served as an assistant coach under Doc Rivers the previous season, is naturally expected to be among the names they could replace the veteran coach in the Clippers’ bench.

Clippers and Doc Rivers parted ways earlier today, per Adrian Wojnarowski, after their disappointing presence in the Orlando “bubble”.
