The Los Angeles Lakers are back to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2010 when the team was led by the late Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol. Lakers’ sharp-shooter Danny Green thinks his team deserves to be at this stage of postseason.
“This team is very resilient, persistent and we’ve hung in there and we deserve to be where we’re at. But we still have a lot of work to do. We know the job is not done. We have four more. We got to get back to business after we celebrate this one for 24 hours maybe 28,” Green said.
For Green, it will be his fourth NBA Finals appearance with a third different team. He has previously won championships with the San Antonio Spurs and Toronto Raptors.
