Magic Johnson took to Twitter to react to the Los Angeles Lakers advancing to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2010.
The Lakers’ legend posted that LeBron James kept his promise and brought the Lakers back to the NBA Finals. Magic was the GM of the organization when James decided to bring his talents to Los Angeles.
James recorded a triple-double in Game 5 win vs. the Nuggets, dropping 38 points along with 16 rebounds and 10 assists.
Johnson also praised the Nuggets for their resilience claiming that Denver’s young core will have many chances to win championships in the future.
