Paul Pierce called out the current NBA players for being scared of LeBron James.
The NBA and Boston Celtics legend added that in his era, players were not afraid of James.
“Players of today are scared of LeBron James. If they see LeBron standing in front of them, they’re fear-shaking. My era is out of the league, we weren’t afraid of LeBron,” Pierce said on Friday during ESPN’s NBA Countdown.
Pierce and James had a heated rivalry in early 2010s, when the Celtics and the Heat were top contenders in the Eastern Conference.
