Kevin Durant shared his thoughts on the Brooklyn Nets hiring Steve Nash as the new head coach.
The superstar of the Nets said he supported the front office’s decision, but did not pick who the new coach will be.
“First of all, I didn’t pick the Nets coach. We’ve got people in place that do that. I just supported it: Me and Kyrie. We’re always on the same page. He’s just a hooper. It doesn’t matter,” Durant said during his appearance on the Joe Budden podcast, via SB Nation.
Nash signed a four-year contract with Brooklyn and that will be his first job as head coach.
The Nets are expected to be title contenders next season, with Durant and Kyrie Irving back to the lineup.
