Michael Malone shared his thoughts on his relationship with the superstar of the Los Angeles Lakers LeBron James.
The head coach of the Denver Nuggets said he never tried to be friends with James or to ‘kiss his a**’.
“I never tried to be LeBron’s boy. I never tried to be his buddy. I wasn’t trying to kiss his ass. I’m a coach’s son. I’m going to coach. If you’re not doing your job, I’m going to tell you, just as I would tell anybody else,” Malone told reporters, via Mike Singer of The Denver Post.
Malone and the Nuggets will face James and the Lakers in Game 1 tonight.
