Alex Caruso of the Los Angeles Lakers spoke about the upcoming Game 7 of the Western Conference semifinals between the Clippers and the Nuggets. The Lakers will face the winner in the Conference finals.

The 26-year-old point guard was impressed with the fight that the Nuggets are showing despite initially being 1-3 down in the series.

“Just impressed with the fight that Denver shows. They were down 3-1 the first series, everybody counted them out. They won 3 in a row. They were down 3-1 these series. I think everybody counted them out. Here they are again forcing the Game 7. It will be interesting to see how they will respond. It’s a big emotional as well as physical task to come back from that many games down,” Caruso said.

“Looking forward to it. Obviously, whoever we play is going to be good team playing well because they’ve had to beat some good people to get there. As far as us being ready, I think we’re a little better in the first game against Houston than we were against Portland. Hopefully, that will be the same step, take a little step further of coming out.”
