The Houston Rockets finished the season in really disappointing fashion, as they were knocked out by the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round of the playoffs.
The Rockets title aspirations proved not realistic enough, as the Lakers dismantled Houston’s small-ball lineup.
According to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, the general manager of the Houston Rockets Daryl Morey will be under review from the team’s ownership.
Head coach Mike D’Antoni told the Rockets he won’t be returning, as his contract came to an end after four seasons. With James Harden and Russell Westbrook getting the most of the franchise’s cap space, Morey and the Rockets’ front office will need to become more creative in order to improve the team.
