The Houston Rockets and Sam Cassell have mutual interest to collaborate, per Tim MacMahon of ESPN.

The Rockets are in search for a new head coach, after Mike D’Antoni’s decision to leave the team.

D’Antoni parted ways with Houston after four years, as his contract expired and has already been linked with a move to the Philadelphia 76ers.

For his part, Cassell is currently working as the assistant of Doc Rivers in the Los Angeles Clippers, but is interested in taking over an NBA team.
