Mike D’Antoni reportedly a candidate for taking over the Philadelphia 76ers

Mike D’Antoni is considered a candidate for the head coaching position of the Philadelphia76ers, per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

D’Antoni will inform the Houston Rockets he will not return to the team next season and will become a free agent.

Therefore, the veteran coach is one of the prime candidates to take over the Sixers, who are in search for Brett Brown’s replacement.

D’Antoni is also expected to attract interest from the Indiana Pacers and the New Orleans Pelicans.
