The Detroit Pistons forward Blake Griffin believes that no player will be allowed to be the next Mickael Jordan. Griffin explained that fans are not going to acknowledge that someone is better than his Airness.

“I don’t think we’ll allow anybody to be Michael Jordan,” Blake Griffin said in an IG live with GQ.

“Unless you just come in and you have a perfect career. Like Michael Jordan didn’t have a perfect career obviously. Like he struggled early on and then ran off three, came back and ran off three more and got out. But like, I don’t know, I don’t think we will allow ourselves to.”

Griffin, who is a Jordan brand athlete, obviously reffered to the MJ’s perfect record in the NBA Finals, as Jordan won six Finals MVP.

The Bulls had six championships during the MJ’s reign in the NBA, as the Hall of Famer finished his career with averages of 30.1 points, 6.2 rebounds and 5.3 assists with the Bulls and the Washington Wizards in 1,072 games.
