Gordon Hayward is expected to rejoin the Boston Celtics in the Orlando “bubble” ‘sometime soon’.
The head coach of the Celtics Brad Stevens confirmed the news while speaking to reporters on Monday.
Stevens said Hayward will rejoin the team ‘sometime soon’, but he is not expected to return to action right away.
Hayward sprained his ankle during the seeding games and has not played in the playoffs.
It is unclear whether he will be ready to return during the second-round series against the Toronto Raptors.
