The Mavericks took two games against a team considered a title favorite with Luka Doncic being the second-best player in the series behind Kawhi Leonard.
The Dallas Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki took the Twitter to comment on Rick Carlisle’s team, saying the future is bright for Doncic and his teammates.
Doncic finished the series averaging 29.8 points, 10 rebounds and 8.6 assists. He shot 49% from the field and 34.3% from beyond the arc, while Kristaps Porzingis was available only for three games.
