CJ McCollum shared his thoughts on the possibility of Carmelo Anthony remaining with the Blazers next season.

McCollum wold be excited if he had the chance to play alongside Anthony for many more years.

“We are thankful to have him. Hopefully he can come back next year, but once again, that is above my pay grade. If it was up to me, I would like to play with him for the rest of his career, but I guess that is to be determined,” McCollum told reporters, via Jason Quick of The Athletic.

Despite their struggles, the Blazers made it to the playoffs, but got eliminated in the opening round, after losing to the Los Angeles Lakers 4-1.

Anthony averaged 15.2 points and 5.0 rebounds per game in the playoff series.
