Kristaps Porzingis hopes to be able to return in the 2019-2020 playoffs if the Dallas Mavericks advance to the next round of the postseason.
The Mavs’ big man has suffered a lateral meniscus tear in his right knee during Game 1 of the series vs. the Los Angeles Clippers.
Porzingis said he will remain in the “bubble” to treat his injury with the hope of returning at some point during the playoffs.
The Dallas’ forward/center had a great string of performances in the Orlando “bubble”, but his injury made him sit out in the last three games vs the Clippers.
Game 6 between the Dallas Mavericks and the Los Angeles Clippers will take place on Sunday. The Clippers need one win to advance in the second round.
