Rick Carlisle, head coach of the Dallas Mavericks, provided an update on the status of Kristaps Porzginis for Game 5 against the Los Angeles Clippers. The Latvian forward has been dealing with left knee soreness and missed Game 4 already.
“He’s been undergoing treatment. This may be a game time decision similar to what Luka’s was yesterday,” Carlisle said, per Mark Followill of FOX Sports.
Even without Porzingis, Dallas managed to tie the series thanks to Luka Doncic’s heroics. Luka had 43 points, 17 rebounds and 13 assists including a game-winning buzzer-beater three-pointer at the end of overtime.
