Carmelo Anthony shared his thoughts on facing his good friend LeBron James in the playoffs.

The first-round playoff series between the Portland Trail Blazers and the Los Angeles Lakers marks just the second time the two stars have faced each other in the postseason (2012 Eastern Conference semifinals).

“It’s fun for me…I’ve been playing against him since we was 16, 17-years old, so I actually enjoy those moments. When I’m inside that rectangle, I don’t look at him as LeBron.

I look at him as someone who can take over the game and dominate a game—who has been dominating the game for so long.

We’ll still be friends, we’ll still be brothers, we’ll talk about it after the game or when we get together. But when we inside them lines, I’m trying to beat you, you trying to beat me. And I know that and he knows that,” Anthony told Cassidy Hubbarth of ESPN.

James and the Lakers lead the series against Anthony and the Blazers 2-1. Game 4 is tonight.
